If this pandemic has taught us anything it is that we have to embrace change! We are coming to the end of an era at 701 Cortland and the beginning of a new era at 908 Cortland (just down the street). Some of you may be wondering why we moving and it is due to our inability to come up with an amicable negotiation.
In 2009 with no experience in the fitness and wellness industry, a dream and a dozen cookies for our future landlord, we leased the vacant storefront at 701 Cortland and created: fitBERNALfit, fitness for you, fun for your dog. We had a dream of providing a self service fitness and wellness solution for the residents (and their dogs) of Bernal Heights. As we have evolved over the years, there have been many trials and tribulations, but none as daunting as the recent pandemic! We have come to realize, it isn't the 4 walls that shape us…..It’s the people inside!
We feel so lucky that after 12 years at 701 Cortland Ave., we have a new place to evolve, create new memories and continue to provide an awesome (and safe) LOCAL workout option. We are excited to share the next chapter of fitBERNALfit with our great community. After all it is YOU who has given us the opportunity to grow over the years and most recently provided us a lifeline throughout this pandemic.
